Michael joined the firm in 2006 and entered into Partnership in 2014. He is a Fellow of the RICS, a Fellow of the IRPM, and an RICS Registered Valuer. Michael oversees the firm’s compliance matters. He is the resident Partner at our Residential Management Department based at our Potters Bar branch, and he is an expert in residential property management and service charge disputes. Michael’s professional practice includes giving expert evidence for and representing clients in the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in relation to service charge disputes, and he has a keen interest in cases concerning the appointment of a manager pursuant to section 24 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987, having been appointed as manager by the Tribunal in nine cases. He occasionally delivers training to the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) on the subject of Management Orders. Michael also regularly carries out residential valuations for properties in London and the Home Counties.

Bruce entered into Partnership at Maunder Taylor in 1970 and has a wealth of property experience. He is a Fellow of the RICS, a Member of the Academy of Experts, and an RICS Registered Valuer. He is an expert in the valuation of both residential and commercial property for marketing purposes, to assist in dispute resolution, taxation matters, statutory valuations for Leasehold Reform Act purposes, and diminution in value claims arising from dilapidations. He receives occasional appointments from the Upper Tribunal (Property Chamber) for valuations pursuant to section 33 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. Part of his professional practice involves assisting parties with service charge and management disputes. He specialises in valuations for the development of roof and air spaces over existing blocks of flats.

Ross joined the firm in 2012 and entered into Partnership in 2020. He is a Member of the RICS, a Member of the IRPM, and an RICS Registered Valuer. Ross specialises in the valuation of both residential and commercial property, present value as well as retrospective valuations, for marketing purposes, to assist in dispute resolution, taxation matters and statutory valuations for Leasehold Reform Act purposes. He gives expert valuation evidence for clients in matrimonial disputes, and represents clients in the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in relation to Leasehold Reform Act valuation cases.

Ben joined the Sales Department at Maunder Taylor in 1993. He very quickly settled in, and in 2004 he took over the responsibility for running our Sales & Lettings Department. Ben is a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents. He started dealing solely with residential sales, before later moving into commercial sales, and he now deals with land sales and the marketing of properties that need a bespoke marketing plan given their unusual nature, such as defective or short leases, redevelopment potential, and disrepair. Ben is highly experienced with traditional sales by private treaty as well as sales by informal tender.

Jason joined our team in 2001, first working in our Residential Management Department until he moved to our Valuation Department in 2005. He is an expert in valuation matters, with a keen interest in lease extension and collective enfranchisement valuations under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and Leasehold Reform Act 1993.
